Turkey identifies second suicide bomber in Ankara massacre as Syrian citizen

A Syrian citizen identified only as E.U. was the second suicide bomber to attack a peace rally on Oct. 10, 2015, in Ankara, killing 100 activists, according to the Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities did not provide any other information on E.U.

On Oct. 19, 2015, the Ankara Prosecutor's Office, the prosecutor's office heading the investigation into the deadly blasts, had identified the other suicide bomber in the Ankara twin blasts as Yunus Emre Alagöz, a jihadist from the Islamic State (IS).

Identified by DNA tests, Alagöz is the brother of another IS militant, Şeyh Abdurrahman Alagöz, the perpetrator of the Suruç bombing that killed 33 activists and wounded more than 100 in late July in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa.
